Blog Post Title One
We all know that gear doesn’t matter, right? Well that’s not strictly true, but it’s certainly not the most important aspect of photography. Just being out with a camera is the thing that counts, whatever camera that may be. Nevertheless, some of you may be interested in what I use, so here’s a little resumé of my current equipment.
Cameras - Fuji X-T3 Superb image quality, lightweight, great weather sealing. An all round great camera!
Fuji X-T2 (Converted to full spectrum by the lovely and talented folk at Protech)
Lenses - Fuji 10-24mm F4 R OIS A great wide angle lens.
Fuji 16-55mm f2.8 R LM WR This lens is optically spectacular and with it’s equivalent focal range of 24-70 (full frame), is responsible for the majority of my woodland shots.
Fuji 50-140mm f2.8 R LM OIS WR My 70-200 equivalent and once again, optically stunning.
Fuji 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR For those moments when a longer focal length is needed. It’s great in the mountains, if I can be bothered to carry the weight with me.
Fuji 14mm f2.8 R This prime lens is usually the one found on my full spectrum camera as it produces great results with no hot spots across the whole aperture range.
Tripod - Benro Mach3 TMA38CL
Filters - Kase Wolverine Magnetic Circular 3 stop, 6 stop and 10 stop ND. CPL, which is very useful for woodland stuff. The convenience of this system is fantastic.
I also use a selection of different Infra Red filters, covering a variety of different wavelengths.
